A handcrafted convertible necklace composed of four interchangeable sections, featuring freshwater pearls in three different sizes and shifting lavender-grey tones.

Connect them. Separate them. Recompose them.

Wear all four as one, divide them into shorter compositions, or transform selected sections into bracelets and suspended details.

One piece. Never only one form.

NEVER A FINISHED VERSION

We often think becoming means arriving somewhere.

Becoming more certain.
More complete.
More like the person we imagined we would be.

But perhaps there is no final version.

IN THE MAKING was designed around that thought.

Four individual sections come together in different ways, while three sizes of lavender-grey freshwater pearls create subtle shifts in scale and rhythm.

The same elements can separate, reconnect, and take on a different form — without losing what makes them themselves.

Perhaps we can, too.

FOUR SECTIONS. YOUR COMPOSITION.

IN THE MAKING is built from four detachable sections, designed to work individually and together.

Wear all four as a long necklace. Reconnect them into a shorter composition. Layer two lengths together. Wrap selected sections around the wrist. Add the three-pearl section as a suspended detail.

Or find an arrangement we never thought of.

Three sizes of lavender-grey pearls move throughout the design — from a fine, continuous rhythm to larger visual pauses — while S925 sterling silver components allow each section to connect and separate.

There is no single intended arrangement.

ASSEMBLED BY HAND

Each pearl and sterling silver element is selected, arranged, and assembled by hand, with attention to proportion, spacing, and rhythm.

The four sections are considered both individually and as parts of a larger composition. Each should feel complete on its own — and become something different when joined with another.

Natural variations in shape, surface, tone, and luster remain visible in every finished piece.

DETAILS

LAVENDER-GREY FRESHWATER PEARLS
Freshwater pearls in soft lavender-grey, mauve, and silvery tones, selected in three different scales to create subtle shifts in proportion and rhythm.

S925 STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver connectors and details bring structure to the organic pearl forms while allowing each section to connect, separate, and be recomposed.

FOUR-PART CONSTRUCTION
One long pearl strand, two connecting sections, and one pendant section form four interchangeable parts. Wear them together or reconfigure them into different compositions as your own way of wearing the piece evolves.

THE COMPOSITION
Three pearl sizes create a gradual shift in scale — from the delicacy of the long strand to the stronger presence of the pendant pearls. Each section has its own proportion while remaining part of the same visual language.

NATURAL VARIATION
No two pearls are exactly alike. Subtle differences in shape, surface, tone, and luster are part of the character of every finished piece.
