Living in Paris

Last year I studied in Paris during five months, while living in the prettiest house of the Cité d’Universitaire, Maison des Belges. This city in the city is located opposite le Parc Montsouris in the south of Paris. Even though these houses are for students, locals come by to walk around and if you’re interested in architecture this place is a must-see.

Every house is unique but they’re not all open to visit. La Fondation Suisse, designed by Le Corbusier, opens up the common living room and a student room on the first floor.

La Maison du Brésil, designed by Le Corbusier and Lucio Costa, is also worth a visit. The permanent exhibition about the history of the building, the hall and the little theatre are unique in a big vibrant city as Paris.

Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Paris.
